The joy of two

Things have been going well at the Brown household. We're adjusting to having two little ones instead of one...that can be interesting. Allan came down with some type of virus on Monday that caused a fever of 103.4. We've been trying to keep Daniel at a distance until Allan gets well. My parents left for home on Tuesday and now my mother-in-law is staying the nights to help with the 2:00 feeding. It's a blessing to have family who are willing to help carry the load! We're very grateful for everyone who has pitched in to get us through the first few days of adjustment. Here are some new pictures of the little guy.

Daniel Mark Brown has arrived!

Born on September 19th at 12:45 pm. 8lbs. 3oz. 20 1/2 inches long. Praise the Lord for a good delivery and a healthy baby. Both mommy and baby are home and doing well.

It's snowing!

We're still waiting for Daniel Mark to make his appearance. He's now 5 days past his due date. My parents arrived from PA today so we're hoping things start happening soon. Allan is having fun with packing peanuts that were left over after our move.

Lover of big equipment

Allan adores anything that moves dirt. The school has been excavating this week beside our house in preparation for the new maintenance building. All of the bulldozers, bobcats, dump trucks and loaders have thrilled the little guy. Today he played on the gravel "mountain" in our driveway and had loads of fun.

Still playing the waiting game!

We are still waiting for the little guy to arrive. Since we all came down with the flu this weekend it was good that he hadn't come. Philip came in with these last week and that perked me up! :o)
