Enjoying some warmer weather

The snow is slowly turning to mud. Allan found his daddy's tie laying on the chair the other day and said, "Look I'm daddy!" He also enjoys wearing Daniel's hat. Daniel celebrated his 5th month birthday this week and weighed in at 17 lbs. 2 oz. Quite a big boy.

ICE!!

We had a beautiful ice storm Monday and yesterday. As you can see from the before and after pictures of the tree...it did do some damage. I'm so thankful that the truck didn't get smashed - missed it by 5 feet. Also a picture of Allan opening some Valentines gifts his Grandma Slagenweit sent him. Daniel is eating cereal now and can make a royal mess at times! I started him on carrots today and he is not impressed! He shivers every time I put a bite in his mouth.

Snow again!

Yesterday I began to snow around noon and didn't stop until 6-7 inches and 8 hours later! Allan spent as much time outside playing today as I would allow him. It's still really cold at 17 with a windchill of 6. We're to the point now where when it reaches 32 again we'll feel like it's time to put the coats away! The top picture is of the new maintenance building that is going in beside us. That picture was taken last week...the bottom picture was taken last evening.
