Our family devotions in February were focused on obedience and so the boys learned songs and scripture verses to fit our theme. Daniel did really well. His speech is not as clear and enunciated but since he's only been talking for 7 months I think he's doing quite well. He learned Ephesians 6:1-3 and 1 Samuel 15:22. He's been struggling with a cold for the past 13 days but I think we're coming to the end of it.

Oh I love this. Do you use a particular book or plan for monthly themes for family devotions that you suggest? I, for one, am really hoping you'll make that parenting journal/blog public. I would be a faithful reader. It helps me so much to get ideas and inspiration from other families. And I would respect yours very much.

We haven't found any devotional program that is for the ages of our children. Have you guys found anything? Right now we're using mom Brown's book and covering one character trait each month. We then choose stories, verses, songs and lessons to go along with the trait. This really gets to be time consuming and wearisome. Any ideas?
