Snow yesterday

Oh, it was wonderful! We got our first significant snowfall yesterday (about three inches) and had so much fun! I love snow and feel very strongly that if the temperature is going to be below freezing there should be snow compensation. Yesterday morning I took the boys to the church's Christmas program practice. When we arrived home they donned on their hats, bibs, mittens, and winter coats and spent almost three hours having the time of their lives. Our neighbor boys, Jonathan and Nathaniel Valentine came over and joined them in sledding and having snowball battles. Their mother, Rhoda, also joined in later on.
