Happy First Day of Spring!

Since we actually had winter this year it feels like a definite spring is coming! I love the snow and slowness of winter but I enjoy it largely because of the promise of springtime. Last week I bought some pansies, which are Philip's favorite, and got them planted near the entrance of the house. I forgot that the wreath on the front door that says, "Let It Snow" probably should come down.

Though I'm very thankful that none of my children had colds this year, (save Stephen who sniffles almost constantly from allergies and it's hard to know if it's cold sniffles or allergy sniffles) - we didn't miss the most recent Influenza A outbreak and so very high fevers and all sorts of other unpleasantness are happening in this household.

Once they recuperate, they're back in same old form!
This is Stephen's "T-Rex look" with the two claws on each arm.

Beautiful pansies! Poor babies- so sorry they got the nasty, evil flu! Love, love Stephen's T-rex. Tell him he looks quite ferocious- he scares even me! ;o)
